Welcome to the CVE Chess Club!
- Day: We meet on Fridays before school from 8:05am-9:10am in the Cafeteria.
- Cost: Tuition is $220 per student per 10 week session.
- Dates: Our Winter Session starts on January 10 and runs until March 21. We will not have chess club on February 21. Our Winter make-up option will be for March 28.
- Ages: All students grades K-5 are welcome to join our program. Students will be split up into 2-3 groups depending on chess skill and experience!
- Schedule:
- 25-minutes of practice play while coaches give feedback.
- 20-minutes of interactive and engaging lessons
- 20-minute club tournament round where we track results and pass out Trophies and Medals to our top finishers on the final class.
- All students receive an Excel with Chess club t-shirt along with weekly optional homework sheets.
- Coaching Team: Coach Lane leads the CVE Chess Club along with Coach Pete, Coach Travis, and Coach Harrison.
