Welcome to the Lockwood Chess Club!
- Day: We meet on Fridays before school from 8:30am-9:20am in the 5th Grade Wing.
- Cost: Registration is done through the Lockwood PTA.
- Schedule: Our Fall Session details are still TBD.
- Ages: All students grades K-5 are welcome to join our program. Students will be split up into multiple groups based on chess skill and experience!
- Schedule:
- 15-minutes of practice play while coaches give feedback.
- 15-minutes of interactive and engaging lessons
- 20-minute club tournament round where we track results and pass out Trophies and Medals to our top finishers on the final class.
- Coaching Team: Coach Tim leads the Lockwood Chess Club along with Coach Travis.
