Welcome to the Rosa Parks Chess Club!
- Day: We meet on Tuesdays after school from 3:10pm-4:15pm in the Art Room.
- Cost: Tuition is $200 per student per 8 week session.
- Schedule: Our Winter Session starts on January 14 and runs until March 11.
- Ages: (Our Winter Club will be capped at 30 students due to space) All students grades K-5 are welcome to join our program. Students will be split up into multiple groups based on chess skill and experience!
- Schedule:
- 5-minutes of snack time during attendance
- 20-minutes of practice play while coaches give feedback.
- 20-minutes of interactive and engaging lessons
- 20-minute club tournament round where we track results and pass out Trophies and Medals to our top finishers on the final class.
- All students receive an Excel with Chess club t-shirt along with weekly optional homework sheets.
- Coaching Team: Coach Lane leads the Rosa Parks Chess Club along with Coach Tim, Coach Travis and Coach Kai.
