Welcome to the Cherry Crest Chess Club!
- Day: We meet on Wednesdays after school from 12:15pm-1:15pm in Rooms 105 & 106.
- Cost: Tuition is $220 per student per 8 week session.
- Dates: Our Fall Session starts on October 22 and runs until December 17. We will not have class on November 5. Our Winter Session starts on January 28 and runs until March 25. We will not have class on February 18. Any classes canceled will be made up online via zoom.
- Ages: All students grades K-5 are welcome to join our program. Students will be split up into multiple groups based on chess skill and experience!
- Schedule:
- 20-minutes of practice play while coaches give feedback.
- 20-minutes of interactive and engaging lessons
- 20-minute club tournament round where we track results and pass out Trophies and Medals to our top finishers on the final class.
- All students receive an Excel with Chess club t-shirt along with weekly optional homework sheets.
- Coaching Team: Coach Tim leads the Cherry Crest Chess Club along with Coach Lane, Coach Ben and Coach Steve.
