Welcome to the Cherry Crest Chess Club!
- Day: We meet on Wednesdays after school from 12:15pm-1:15pm in Room 105.
- Cost: Tuition is $250 per student per 10 week session. Due to space constraints, our club will be capped at 31 students. Registration ends on Wednesday, December 18 at 3pm.
- Dates: Our Winter Session starts on January 8 and runs until March 19. We will not have chess on February 19.
- Ages: All students grades K-5 are welcome to join our program. Students will be split up into multiple groups based on chess skill and experience!
- Schedule:
- 20-minutes of practice play while coaches give feedback.
- 20-minutes of interactive and engaging lessons
- 20-minute club tournament round where we track results and pass out Trophies and Medals to our top finishers on the final class.
- All students receive an Excel with Chess club t-shirt along with weekly optional homework sheets.
- Coaching Team: Coach Pete leads the Cherry Crest Chess Club along with Coach Harrison and Coach Jerome.
