Welcome to the Clyde Hill Chess Club!
- Day: We meet on Wednesdays after school from 12:10pm-1:15pm in the Gym.
- Cost: Tuition is $250 per student per 10 week session. Note: Registration is no longer through RAS.
- Dates: Our Fall Session starts on October 2 and runs until December 11. We will not have chess club on November 27. Our Fall make-up option will be for December 18.
- Ages: All students grades K-5 are welcome to join our program. Students will be split up into multiple groups based on chess skill and experience!
- Schedule:
- 5-minutes of snack time during attendance
- 20-minutes of practice play while coaches give feedback.
- 20-minutes of interactive and engaging lessons
- 20-minute club tournament round where we track results and pass out Trophies and Medals to our top finishers on the final class.
- All students receive an Excel with Chess club t-shirt along with weekly optional homework sheets.
- Coaching Team: Coach Lane leads the Clyde Hill Chess Club along with Coach Harrison, Coach Travis, and Coach Steve.
