Welcome to the Jing Mei Elementary Chess Club!
- Day: We meet on Mondays after school from 3:30pm-4:40pm in the Cafeteria.
- Cost: Tuition is $250 per student per 10 week session.
- Dates: Our Fall Session starts on September 30 and runs until December 9. We will not have chess club on November 11. Our Fall make-up option will be for December 16.
- Ages: All students grades K-5 are welcome to join our program. Students will be split up into multiple groups based on chess skill and experience!
- Schedule:
- 10-minutes of snack time during attendance
- 20-minutes of practice play while coaches give feedback
- 20-minutes of interactive and engaging lessons
- 20-minute club tournament round where we track results and pass out Trophies and Medals to our top finishers on the final class.
- All students receive an Excel with Chess club t-shirt along with weekly optional homework sheets.
- Coaching Team: Coach Pete leads the Jing Mei Chess Club along with Coach Steve.
