Welcome to the Woodmoor Chess Club!
- Day: We meet on Mondays after school from 4:00pm-5:05am in Pod A.
- Cost: Tuition is $220 per student per 9 week session.
- Parent Volunteer Sign Up Link (Each class needs at least 1 parent volunteer or class will be cancelled)
- Dates: Our Fall Session starts on September 29 and runs until December 8. We will not have class on November 17 and November 24.
- Ages: All students grades K-5 are welcome to join our program. Students will be split up into multiple groups based on chess skill and experience!
- Schedule:
- 5-minutes of snack time during attendance
- 20-minutes of practice play while coaches give feedback.
- 20-minutes of interactive and engaging lessons
- 20-minute club tournament round where we track results and pass out Trophies and Medals to our top finishers on the final class.
- All students receive an Excel with Chess club t-shirt along with weekly optional homework sheets.
- Coaching Team: Coach Tim leads the Woodmoor Chess Club along with Coach Slava and Coach Valentina.
