Welcome to the Lakeview Chess Club!
- Day: We meet on Thursdays before school from 8:00am-9:05am or Fridays after school from 3:55pm-5:05pm in the Library.
- Cost: Tuition is $220 per student per 9 week session.
- Dates: Our Fall Session starts on October 3 & 9 and runs until December 11 & 12.
- Ages: All students grades K-5 are welcome to join our program. Students will be split up into multiple groups based on chess skill and experience!
- Schedule:
- 10 minutes of snack time during attendance (Friday Club only)
- 20-minutes of practice play while coaches give feedback.
- 20-minutes of interactive and engaging lessons
- 20-minute club tournament round where we track results and pass out Trophies and Medals to our top finishers on the final class.
- All students receive an Excel with Chess club t-shirt along with weekly optional homework sheets.
- Coaching Team: Coach Tim leads the Lakeview Chess Club along with Coach Lane, Coach Pete and Coach Slava.
