Welcome to the Bennett Elementary Chess Club!
- Day: We meet on Tuesday mornings before school from 8:00am-8:55am in the Cafeteria.
- Cost: Tuition is $220 per student per 10 week session.
- Dates: Our Winter Session starts on January 6 and runs until March 17. We will not have class on February 17. Our Spring Session starts on March 24 and runs until June 9. We will not have class on April 7 and May 26.
- Ages: All students grades K-5 are welcome to join our program. Students will be split up into multiple groups based on chess skill and experience!
- Schedule:
- 15-minutes of practice play while coaches give feedback.
- 20-minutes of interactive and engaging lessons
- 20-minute club tournament round where we track results and pass out Trophies and Medals to our top finishers on the final class.
- All students receive an Excel with Chess club t-shirt along with weekly optional homework sheets.
- Coaching Team: Coach Lane leads the Bennett Chess Club along with Coach Jeffrey.
