Welcome to the CVE Chess Club!
- Day: We meet on Fridays before school from 8:05am-9:05am in the Cafeteria.
- Cost: Tuition is $220 per student per 10 week session.
- Dates: Our Winter Session starts on January 9 and runs until March 20. We will not have chess club on February 20. Our Spring Session starts on March 27 and runs until June 5. We will not have chess club on April 17.
- Ages: All students grades K-5 are welcome to join our program. Students will be split up into 3 groups depending on chess skill and experience!
- Schedule:
- 20-minutes of practice play while coaches give feedback.
- 20-minutes of interactive and engaging lessons
- 20-minute club tournament round where we track results and pass out Trophies and Medals to our top finishers on the final class.
- All students receive an Excel with Chess club t-shirt along with weekly optional homework sheets.
- Coaching Team: Coach Lane leads the CVE Chess Club along with Coach Pete and Coach Ben.
